I am delighted to welcome you to the St Andrew’s Primary School website.
St Andrew’s Primary is situated in the town of Rothesay on the beautiful island of Bute. Our current school building opened its doors in 1907 and since then the school has become an integral part of our community and parish.
Parents, partners and visitors appreciate the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the caring ethos which is promoted throughout the school.
We provide a happy, inclusive learning environment which nurtures self-esteem and respect for others. A broad and balanced curriculum caters for the needs and abilities of every pupil. Through creative partnership working, we provide high quality learning experiences to prepare our children for their life long journey as successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors.
We are a school community of faith and learning and we strive to provide a range of learning opportunities which take account of our rural island setting.
Our website provides information about our school however we have an open door policy and would happily arrange a visit to the school should you wish to do so.
