Our pupils are encouraged to be their best and be role-models for others. They have opportunities to learn from older children as well as be helpful to younger children. This can be in the day-to-day in class, as well as across classes for times when we do activities like shared reading.
We highlight our St Andrew’s Role-Models at our weekly whole-school celebration assemblies. Staff nominate StAR pupils who have demonstrated our school values, made achievements or shown great effort. They receive a certificate to share with people at home and a StAR trophy which they keep in class all week.
